What Clients Ask Most

What is Permanent Makeup (PMU)?

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattoo technique designed to enhance features such as brows, lips, and eyes using specialized pigments and precision artistry. Results are designed to look soft, natural, and customized to each client.

How long do PMU results last?

Results vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, sun exposure, and the service performed. Most PMU services last between 1–3 years before needing a color refresh.

Does permanent makeup hurt?

Pain levels vary from person to person, but most clients describe the procedure as mild to moderate discomfort. A topical numbing agent is used throughout the appointment to maximize comfort.

How long is the healing process?

Initial healing typically takes 7–14 days, while full healing and pigment settling can take up to 4–6 weeks depending on the service and individual skin response.

What is the aftercare process like?

Proper aftercare is essential for healed results. Clients will receive detailed aftercare instructions following their appointment, including cleansing instructions, healing expectations, and products or activities to avoid.

Where are you located?

Blessed With Ink is located in Clovis, California and proudly serves Fresno and clients throughout the Central Valley.

Will my brows look dark immediately after the appointment?

Yes. Brows and other PMU services may appear darker, bolder, or warmer immediately after the procedure. This is a normal part of the healing process, and results will soften as the skin heals.

What should I avoid before my appointment?

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, blood thinners, retinol products, excessive sun exposure, and Botox near the treatment area before your appointment unless otherwise instructed.

Who is not a candidate for PMU?

Clients who are pregnant or nursing, currently undergoing chemotherapy, using Accutane, have certain skin conditions near the treatment area, or have uncontrolled medical conditions may not be eligible for treatment. A consultation may be recommended before booking.

Do you offer brow corrections?

Yes. Brow corrections are offered on a case-by-case basis depending on previous work, pigment saturation, shape, and skin condition. Photos may be required before booking.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments and will be applied toward your total service cost.

How do I know which brow style is best for me?

Every client receives customized mapping and a consultation to determine the best shape, color, and technique based on facial structure, skin type, lifestyle, and desired results.
